Penetration seals are materials or systems used to seal openings created by services such as gas, water, electricity, and drainage as they pass through fire-resisting walls, partitions, floors, and ceilings, ensuring that the integrity and insulation of the fire compartmentation are not compromised. The purpose of fire resistance testing is to confirm compliance with building codes and standards, ensuring the seals maintain their protective properties during a fire.
We are able to perform fire resistance testing for foams, sealants, mastics and other fire resistant penetration seals.
