FIRE RESISTANCE TESTING
Independent, UKAS accredited fire resistance testing for construction products, building materials and structural component to British (BS) and European (EN) standards.
What is fire resistance testing?
Fire resistance testing measures the ability of a building element, structure, or material to withstand exposure to a fire without failing. These tests are critical for ensuring the passive fire protection of a building, the first line of defence that protects lives, assets and structural integrity in the event of a fire.

The fire resistance of a product is typically expressed in minutes between 30 - 240 minutes and across three performance criteria: load-bearing capacity (R), integrity (E) and insulation (I).
